"In Berlin, at 15 Grosse-Hamburger-Strasse, there is a fairly well preserved house, with in its center a small courtyard bordered by two buildings bearing the letters A and C painted black above their front doors. . Building B disappeared in a bombing one day in February 1945: in its place there is a void. But the memory remains, and each place, each story, becomes exemplary."
