Goldin’s work often explores LGBTQ, moments of intimacy, the HIV crisis, and the opioid epidemic. Goldin has began her photography journey by capturing the gay and transgender community, falling in love with drag queens. She admired and respected their sexuality. “My desire was to show them as a third gender, as another sexual option, a gender option. And to show them with a lot of respect and love, to kind of glorify them because I really admire people who can recreate themselves and manifest their fantasies publicly. I think it's brave".

Book filled with raw photographs of couples — intimate and apart.

Including essays written by Taka Kawachi, in both Japanese and English.

Softcover under illustrated slipcase, 26 x 19.5 cm, first edition, text in English and Japanese, colors photographs, edited by Nan Goldin and Taka Kawachi, designed by Hiroshi Ohmizo. In good condition other than some wear marks on the case and some stains on the edge of the papers.
