Dias de Guardar is the title of the book of Carlos Monsiváis's chronicles that expires forty years of having gone out to the light and that is, since it is known, a station of indispensable step in the visits to the culture of the Mexico City of the century xx, especially to the last year of the sexenio of Gustavo Díaz Ordaz (1969-1970). It is a book that reveals, besides the critical spirit of his author, the rooting in the language of modals to the Judeo-Christian calendar and the presence of the catholic tradition in our mentalities, tradition that he fixed this time for the spiritual reflection, the repentance and the penance.
